Seven restaurants to put on your Las Vegas list.

Whether you’re visiting Las Vegas for a conference, special occasion or a quick recharge trip, add these seven restaurants to your list. Click the links for pictures and more insights.

1/ Ito: Special occasion

Ito is located in the FontaineBleau Resort near the Las Vegas Convention Center on the North end. The restaurant is perfect for a special occasion or a very generous corporate travel budget.

Imagine sitting at a sushi bar looking out at the spectacular Las Vegas skyline and sharing the experience with just a few other people. The fish is flown in daily from Japan and served Omakase style, so that you can savor each piece. It’s premium sushi and a premium dining experience. If the restaurant is booked or not in your budget, head to Bar Ito in the Promenade food court on the second floor for a casual experience.

2/ La Fontaine: Brunch

La Fontaine is currently the number one restaurant in Las Vegas for brunch and for good reason. The food is exceptional and the service is equally as good. Order family style so that you can try multiple dishes without feeling stuffed at the end.

Begin with a fresh pressed juice or smoothy, then some light shares like the Crudo and a salad, and end with the soufflé pancakes and Le Traditionnel Benedict. No syrup or ketchup needed.

3/ Sushi Roku: Happy Hour or dinner

Sushi Roku is centrally located on the top level in The Forum Shops at Caesars and perfect for happy hour or dinner. It is a contemporary sushi restaurant overlooking the Las Vegas strip.

Go for happy hour to get a great deal on the delicious rolls. Add a few extras like miso soup, the organic garden salad with ginger dressing and edamame to leave feeling very satisfied. If you’re going for dinner, be sure to try the Tuna Crudo, Chilean Seabass skewers and the banana flambé for desert. Tell your server if you’re celebrating a special occasion.

4/ True Food Kitchen: Healthy lunch or dinner

True Food Kitchen is centrally located on the bottom level at The Forum Shops at Caesars and perfect for a healthy lunch or dinner. True Food Kitchens was co-founded by Andrew Weill MD who is a renowned integrative medicine doctor. The dishes are made with organic, sustainably sourced food and made without harmful products like seed oils. Everything tastes delicious and feels good to eat. One of our menu favorites is the lavender iced matcha lates.

5/ Michael Mina: Dining experience

Michael Mina is a contemporary seafood restaurant located in the Bellagio that is perfect for a dining experience. The restaurant offers several innovative dishes like the Lobster Pot Pie but for me, it’s the tasting menu with wine pairings that is exceptional. Book the last seating so that when you’re done, you can stroll the latest Botanical Garden exhibit without the crowds.

6/ The Mayfair Supper Club: Dinner and a show

The Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio is a really fun experience for locals and out-of-town guests. Book ahead for the best reservations. If you can’t get a reservation, go early to get a seat at the bar. You’ll be able to see the whole show and get the full menu. Bar seating is first come, first serve.

7/ Spago: Dinner and a show

Spago is Wolfgang Puck’s legendary fine dining restaurant inside the Bellagio. The restaurant is considered American cuisine but seems more Californian because the ingredients are organic, seasonal and locally sourced when possible. That helps to make everything absolutely delicious including the Spago bread board which is worth the splurge for those limiting carbs.

If you can get a table by the windows or on the balcony, you’ll get one of the best views of the Bellagio Water Show.
