What to gift your loved ones this holiday season.
No matter who is on your list, the gift of better health and wellbeing is always appreciated.
1/ The Achievable Plan | The Guide and Daily Planner
Everyone has an area of their life that needs work and whatever the area may be, The Achievable Plan can help. It provides an assessment to clarify the areas that need work as well as proven frameworks and robust examples for creating an achievable plan.
The Guide and Daily Planner are a thoughtful gift for anyone who needs help to realize their New Year resolutions and/or to chart a new path. You can order both gift wrapped from Amazon or use them as a stocking stuffer.
2/ Gift Certificate | Consult and Private Pilates Lesson
Developing and honing good form is an important part of the Pilates practice. Before you or a loved one starts their new fitness routine in the new year, start with a consult and private lesson. It’s the best way to get personalized attention to address specific needs and to get the most benefit from Pilates.
Private lessons are a luxury that make the perfect gift for anyone on your list. Purchase the Gift Certificate that includes a 15 minute consult and 60 minute private lesson. Then add some tights and/or a few Pilates props to complete your gift.
3/ Home workout essentials
Gifting the essential Pilates props for home workouts is a nice way to support a loved one’s health journey. For my classes, we regularly use a 36 inch low density foam roller, small inflatable ball, roller or ball for happy feet, hand weights and bands. A real Pilates mat is more expensive but worth the splurge to complete the gift.
4/ Matching pants and top
Matching sets have become quite popular and admittedly, I always notice when someone walks into my class wearing a nice set. The pieces can be mixed and matched to extend the options too. The Lululemon Align series is a crowd favorite for good reason. With that said, Athleta, The GAP, Nike, Nordstrom and many others make similar products and styles.
5/ Pilates Socks
Pilates Socks used to be optional but more and more studios and other venues are requiring socks to reduce the potential spread of toe fungus and warts. Toesox is the brand that I wear but there are others on Amazon. Socks with individual toes and grip on the bottom are the best for Pilates. Otherwise, there are plenty of colors and styles to personalize your gift.
Hope to see you on the mat in the new year. Happy Holidays!
